I am an avid graphic novel/comic book reader and there are numerous examples of utopian/dystopian societies. One in particular came to mind for a dystopian society, it is a graphic novel called: Age of Ultron. The story talks about how a man by the name of Hank Pym who decides to create an Artificial Intelligence Unit named Ultron who can was created to think liek a human and act like a human and more importantly help develop ideas on how to help society. It was an investment for the future in a way. However as Ultron began to learn more and more he started to develop the idea that humans were the problem in the world and eventually began to create an army to help eradicate and control the human race. Utlron also had a big interest in hunting super heroes. The story gives a glimpse into the future and how machines began to rule. It is up to the superheroes to travel back in time to fix the problem. This is an example of a dystopian society since Utlron was created to help benefit mankind, but it ended up doing the opposite. It poses the question: where is the fine line when it comes to Technology? Can too much technology or a lot of advanced technology be a bad thing?

I've actually never heard of this graphic novel before but from what you've described it sounds pretty interesting! I like that there are specific questions that the comic addresses through the plot - what answers (to the two questions you say it poses) do you think they were trying to convey through the comic?
